Strawberry Salsa

Ingredients

1 cup finely chopped strawberries
1 fresh Serrano or jalapeno chili, minced
1/4 cup finely chopped scallions
2 Tbs finely chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 tsp fresh lime juice
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar (optional)

Procedure

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. May be made several hours ahead and chilled, covered.
  2. Serve with grilled chicken.
