Sesame Pork Ribs
Ingredients
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup honey
2 Tbs cider vinegar
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp salt
1/4 - 1/2 t crushed red pepper flakes
5 lb country-style pork ribs
1 medium onion, sliced
2 Tbs sesame seeds, toasted
2 Tbs chopped green onions
Procedure
- In a large bowl, combine the first nine ingredients. Add the ribs and turn to coat.
- Place the onion in a 5 qt slow cooker; arrange ribs on top. cover and cook on low 5 - 6 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 160 - 170 degrees.
- Place ribs on a serving dish. Sprinkle with seeds and green onions.
