Healthy Pregnancy Cookbook

Baked Custard

Ingredients

2 eggs
2 cup fat-free milk
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
cinnamon
nutmeg

Procedure

  1. In a bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, sugar and salt. Pour into 4 ungreased 8 oz custard cups (or a 1 1/2 qt glass casserole dish). Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. Place cups in a baking pan with 1/2" of water.
  2. Bake for 50 - 55 minutes.

Serves 4. Per Serving: Calories 150; Calories from fat 27(18%); Fat 3g; Carbohydrates 23g; Sugar 23g; Fiber 0g; Protein 8g
