Bradley Method® Classes are the most comprehensive classes available. Topics covered include nutrition, exercise, natural childbirth skills, birth planning, breastfeeding and labor coaching.

Overcome The Fear of Labor
Bradley Method® Classes help you understand the normal, natural labor process so there is less fear of the unknown. The classes also encourage you to explore other fears you may have about giving birth and becoming a parent. Overcoming fears about labor can help to prevent the Fear-Tension-Pain cycle during labor.

Learn Multiple Relaxation Methods
Bradley Method® Classes teach that relaxation is the key to managing the discomfort of labor. Each week we learn about and practice a different relaxation technique to help you become an expert at relaxation.

Become Confident in Coaching Abilities
Bradley Method® Classes train the coach as well as the mother. Coaches learn ways to meet the needs of a laboring woman; comfort measures that work and how to help the mother give birth safely and comfortably.

Work With Your Caregivers
Bradley Method® Classes teach you skills for working with your doctor or midwife to ensure that your wishes are carried out as best as possible. The classes cover how to write a birth plan, reviewing your birth plan with your caregiver and creating a positive environment for a hospital birth.

Practice What you Learn
Bradley Method® Classes meet weekly for 12 weeks to ensure you have plenty of time to practice the relaxation methods and comfort measures you are learning. Class size is small so you have plenty of teacher interaction and can feel comfortable asking questions.
