Move

Movement doesn't need to be large to be effective. Sometimes turning your head changes your view of your surroundings.

It is possible to gain more ground by moving your expectations than by physically chasing after an unspoken goal.

Labor, like life, is a journey you must travel. It can be hard to see the effect a small movement has until you look back to see the path you have made.

Never underestimate the value of good support. When you feel no longer capable of taking a step, your support can carry you further.

You need to accept that it is physically impossible for your body to remain still. Even if your arm looks firmly positioned, under the skin is a steady flow of you through veins and nerves. This movement happens without your trying to force it to be. It is the same with labor. Your body will move through labor without your trying to make it happen.

Encouraging words for you

"Never confuse movement with action." - Ernest Hemingway
